In Astoria, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across New York on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

Astoria is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Astoria peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Pizza was absolutely outstanding, very fresh and flavorful, the cheese and the sauce nothing to compare. Every bit was delicious. Very welcoming staff, the guy there didnβt allow me to sit down until he literally cleaned the chair and the table. At the end he even helped with my tray bringing it to the trash. The place was very clean. Great service and wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

Let me preface this review by saying that the pizza here is awesome. However, the place is extremely dirty despite having an βAβ from the health dept. There were flies inside the pizza display cases landing on all of the pizzas and the staff was still serving these slices. I noticed this after I sat down with my slices and I wanted to throw up. That was a huge turn off for me and I will never return. Also, the general cleanliness of the place leaves a lot to be desired: Parmigiana cheese all over the countertop where the toppings are located, staff eating/drinking openly while tossing dough, sticky and grimy floors, and dirty tables. Better off going to Albaβs or Rosarioβs if youβre looking for pizza in the Ditmars area.

Top 3 pizza spots Iβve ever been to in my life, Iβm Italian, make my own pizza, & been to Di Faras in its prime (rated #1 in NY back in the day for decades). I HIGHLY recommend coming here, especially if youβre a pizza lover, even their regular meals are great, but the pizza is absolutely delicious! I go out of my way to eat here & the people that work there are so nice & make you feel like family. Itβs family owned, if you want some fire pizza, come hereβ¦ itβs bangin! Absolutely delicious!

Ordered two slices of white and a ham calzone. Slides were fine, ham calzone for the most part as well. A little small for the cost but fine, I can understand with rent as high as it is. Calzone a bit undercooked but over all it was good. The service though was very good and friendly. That has to matter for something.
